Overdraft Protection
-
The amount of your monthly payment will be based on the limit of the line of credit you’ve established so that you never have to worry about your payment changing from month to month. For example: a $3,000 Overdraft Line of Credit has an established payment amount of $147 per month.
-
The interest rate, calculated daily, will start to accrue based on the end-of-day balance, and will be charged monthly until the negative balance is paid back in full.
-
If you want to set up a line of credit, you can apply for it in Online Banking. If you’d like to link your savings account, contact us today.
-
You have two options available for overdraft protection:
- The first option is to link your savings account to overdraft protection. With this option, if you overdraw your account, we will use the funds from your savings account instead, so your check won’t be returned.
- The second option is to set up a line of credit through OAS FCU as protection. You’ll only pay interest on the money you actually use, and you can pay it back as early as you want to.
