How to bank in times of the Pandemic

    Your safety and that of our staff is our top priority.

     

    Given the worldwide spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we continue to implement measures to protect the health of our members and employees, as well as to ensure the continuity of the services we offer.

    We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and will keep you informed about our operations, providing updates when necessary. For now, we have prepared this page to present the options you can use to manage your finances. When possible, we recommend that you do your day-to-day banking online and only visit a branch if you absolutely have to. You can access online banking 24/7 and if you need help.

  • Member Services

     

    Updated in person hours

     

    Our OAS FCU office at the OAS Building is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. Due to the OAS safety protocols, a mask is required to enter the building. The ATM service window will be unavailable while the branch is open; we invite you to come in so that we can serve you more efficiently in our office.

     

    Due to the safety protocols imposed on National Geographic’s building, our OAS FCU branch there remains closed to the public. If you are a National Geographic employee or contractor with access to the building, you can visit us Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm.

     

    Lobby hours:

    OAS Building: Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

    NatGeo Building: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

     

    Virtual service center*:

    Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

     

    After hours call center:

    Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm – 9:00 am

    Saturdays, Sunday, and Holidays 24 hours

    We invite you to request a virtual appointment with one of our customer service representatives; so that we may help you obtain information about a transaction, solve a problem with any of our services, to make a transfer or even to figure out your different loan options.   • Payments, Deposits, and Transfers

     

    Different options available to you

     

    Shared Branches for limited transactions

    You may visit one of our shared branches; please call ahead of time, to make sure that they are still open.

    Remote Capture for check deposit

    You can deposit a check using remote capture on our mobile app. The daily deposit limit across all accounts is $10,000.

    ATM Network

    You can access over 30,000 Co-Op ATMs surcharge-free1. In order to find an ATM that TAKES deposits, please click here and follow these easy steps.

    Bill Pay

    You can also use our Bill pay service within your online banking to pay your bills.

    Daily Limits for Debit Cards

    Your Debit Card daily limit2 for purchases and/or payments is up to $2,000 every 24 hours, plus an additional limit of up to $600 for cash withdrawals every 24 hours. If you need a temporary increase of either of those limits, please send us your request by email at [email protected].

     

    Sending and receiving funds

    • You can use Domestic ACHwire transfers, International ACH, and/or wire transfers for payments or transfer of funds.
    • Use Member to Member Transfer (M2M) to transfer to another OAS FCU’s account: To do so; Log in to your Online Banking, choose ‘Transfers’, ‘To a Member’. You will need to have the receiver’s account number and the first three letters of the receiver’s last name.
    • You may also link your OAS FCU Debit Card or Checking account to other third-party solutions within the U.S., such as the Mobile Wallets (Apple Pay or Apple Pay Cash, Google Pay and Samsung Pay), PaypalVenmo , or Cash.
