Transfer a Balance to Your OAS FCU Credit Card
Lighten your load — and what you pay in interest.
Move your high-interest balances from other U.S. credit cards or loans to your OAS FCU Visa Credit Card and enjoy an introductory 2.25% APR for 12 months,1 with no balance transfer fees.2
Many balance transfer offers charge a transfer fee upfront. With OAS FCU, there’s no balance transfer fee — so more of your payment can go toward reducing your balance.
Why Transfer Your Balance?
A balance transfer lets you move debt from one or more credit cards to another card — ideally one with a lower rate — so you can simplify payments and save by paying less interest.
But here’s what many don’t realize:
0% isn’t always free
Most 0% balance transfer offers charge a balance transfer fee between 3% and 5%, which can cost more than a year of low interest.
Our 2.25% APR offer has no transfer fees2
A smarter, more economical option for steady, long-term savings.
Consolidate and simplify
Managing one monthly payment helps you stay organized and pay down your balance faster.
Example:3
- Transferring $5,000 to a “0% APR” card with a 3% fee costs $150 upfront.
- Transferring the same $5,000 to your OAS FCU card at 2.25% APR for 12 months1 costs about $56 in interest — and $0 in fees.2
- That’s nearly $100 saved right away.
Important Information
- Balance transfers are subject to your available credit limit and cannot include existing OAS FCU credit card balances.
- If your OAS FCU card is new, transfers are available after you activate the new card.
- Interest begins to accrue immediately on transferred balances (no grace period).
- After 12 months, any remaining balance will revert to your card’s standard APR.4
