Your credit union. Your vote.

Your voice matters. As a member, you take part in the decisions that shape OAS FCU. That’s the cooperative difference — you choose who leads and how we move forward.

How you participate

In a credit union, members don’t just use services — they’re part of the decisions.

Each election helps define who represents the membership, how the credit union is governed, and the values that guide OAS FCU’s future.

  • One member, one vote:
Each eligible member owner has the right to vote in annual elections.1
  • eVoting made simple:
We use a secure, third-party electronic voting system so members everywhere can participate—no paper needed.2
  • Positions elected:
Volunteers for the Board of Directors and the Credit Committee, who provide oversight and help guide the credit union’s strategic direction.
Timing & Announcements
Elections happen once a year. When the election cycle starts, we notify all eligible members with details on how to vote, and where to find candidate information. We publish the list of candidates before voting opens, and we announce the elected volunteers at the annual meeting. We follow our bylaws and NCUA guidelines to help keep the process fair and secure.1
Why Take Part

Voting and volunteering keep OAS FCU accountable, transparent, and focused on serving members—not profits. By participating, you will:
  • Choose leaders who represent your priorities.
  • Help protect the cooperative’s values and long-term stability.
  • Strengthen member voice across our global community.
How to Vote
Eligible members receive an official election notice before the election period with instructions on how to vote.1
Follow the instructions in your official election notice to cast your ballot securely online or by mail.2
