1You may request to defer two non-consecutive loan payments per year. Please note that the loan will continue to accrue interest during the deferral period and will extend the term of the loan. A processing fee applies to each loan payment skipped and will be deducted from your account upon completing your request to defer payments. Skip-a-Pay is not available during the first 6 months of the loan. You must be a member in good standing to qualify; a member in good standing is one who is up to date in their obligations and has not caused a loss to OAS FCU. You are responsible for stopping any automatic payments or payments scheduled through another financial institution. Receipt of the request form does not guarantee eligibility; your request to Skip payments may be denied. Skip-a-Pay may affect GAP claims; see your GAP agreement for more details.
