Your Words or Pictures Could be Worth $1,000!
Are you or a family member headed off to college in 2012? The Credit Union and the Credit Union Foundation are pleased to announce a college scholarship opportunity that may make it easier for you to meet your tuition costs. Apply for one of ten $1,000 essay-based scholarships and one $1,000 video-based scholarship:
- 750-word Essay topic: How can your Credit Union help you and others of college age during this current economic slump? Download your application
- 60 second Video challenge: Create a 60-second (or less) advertisement for the Credit Union wanting to reach out to college-aged students. Download your application
Deadline for applications is March 31, 2012. Awards will be made in May 2012.
To be eligible for 2012 scholarships, student applicants must be:
- A member of OAS FCU
- The primary member of their own account (not just a joint owner on someone else's account). Applicant's account must be in good standing
- Entering their freshmen through senior year of college
